Ayurveda the science of life talks about many sweets and sweeter recipes which are good for health and specifically to manage festival disorders and diseases. One among the following recipe is good for Diwali disorders - Indigestion, Diarrhoea, Loss of Appetite, fever, heaviness of the abdomen, distaste etc. It is also good to improve Digestion and metabolism.
Method of preparation

a.
Omam – Ajwain seeds – 1 cup
b.
Jeera – Cumin seeds – 3 tablespoon
c.
Black pepper – 3 tablespoon
d.
Long pepper – 12 numbers
e.
Coriander seeds – 4 tablespoon
f.
Cardamom powder - 1 tablespoon
g.
Dry Ginger powder – 1 tablespoon
h.
Country Sugar – 100 gm
i.
Ghee – 12 gm
a.
Fry cumin seeds, long pepper, and black pepper
until it becomes crisp. Powder it.
b.
Mix ginger, cardamom, with above powder
c.
Make a sugar syrup with water and country sugar
d.
Add all powder one by one and stir constantly
until it becomes Lehya
e. Add ghee and stir well
